Outline
Doug is about to marry the woman of his dreams. Little does he know, his bachelor party is going to be one of the weirdest, most dangerous, and unfortunately, not unforgettable nights of his life? Doug and three friends travel to Las Vegas for the party in his father in law’s Mercedes. Unfortunately for Doug, one of his friends spikes the group's drinks with what he assumes to be ecstasy, only to find out the next day that it was something very, very different. When they wake up the next day, Stu is missing a tooth, there is a tiger in the bathroom, a baby in the closet, Phil is wearing a hospital bracelet, they realize that they have stolen a police car, and worst of all, Doug is missing! The film follows the group as they retrace their steps to try and make some sense of the night before, and of course, try to find Doug.
Actors
Justin Bartha takes the lead role as Doug in the brilliant comedy. He certainly fit’s the part, and is a brilliant actor. Bradley Cooper portrays the character of Phil very well, and has some very funny lines in the movie. Ed Helms takes the role of Stu, again, very funny, and Zach Galifianakis plays Doug’s soon to be brother in law, Alan. All of the actors in this film, not just the main four in the group, are really talented, not to mention funny. Even the facial expressions will have you laughing.
Genre
As you can gather, The Hangover is a comedy film. I’d go as far as to say that it is one of the best comedies to come from 2009 as it is just so funny. All of the actors have great comedy value, and the script and storyline itself is brilliantly funny. There are some parts of the movie that will literally have you falling off of your chair laughing. Unless you have a very particular sense of humor, then you will probably not find it very amusing. There is a fair amount of adult content in places; it just all depends on what you find funny and what you don’t.
Length
At 100 minutes, this film is certainly not too long. However, because I enjoyed The Hangover so much, I can honestly say that I wouldn’t have complained if it was much longer. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much more of the story that could have been told to make the film longer, as it was all covered. It was just a brilliant comedy. If there were to be a sequel then I would definitely pay to see it.

Bottom Line
If you are a comedy fan then this film is a definite must watch. It’s funny, the actors are talented, and with a great storyline too. The Hangover is definitely recommended.
